Evening guys,

I've fitted some coilovers this weekend and after putting the car back together again i've noticed that there is hardly any gap between the height adjuster and the tyre.

Now, the kit is a KW V1 made for the 306 GTI-6, I've also replaced the Wishbones, hubs, ball joints, drop links, wheel hearings, hub carriers, top mounts & bearings.

Am i missing someting here? The car went back together a doddle

Please note, the car is on axel stands. I daren't put it on the ground yet.

Thanks

Torn between 3mm spacers..

Didnt really want to use them but if its going to stop the wheel rubbing at any point then its going to be worth it i guess.

I was going to say the same thing.

It isnt touching, and the tyre wouldnt flex that much, not a road tyre anyway. If they're for the car then thats how there meant to be.

You think?..

I dont want to be giving it some round a corner and have them rub on the adjuster.

Mind you, least i wouldn't have to adjust the height manually

I've orded some 3mm spacers anyway just to be on the ultra safe side. 3mm wont hurt anything :)

You've got shed loads of room there mate, seriously. My Sierra runs much closer on the front coil overs.

also agree, they wont get any closer as you drive it, unless your wheel gets mega buckled.

Usually if that happens the headlight adjuster will be the least of your worries
